Beginning with the basic relationships of force, area, pressure, volume, and distance, complete hydraulic systems with complex components are studied, including the fabrication, inspection, and installation of rigid and flexible plumbing lines and fittings.

Attention is focused on landing gear systems, braking systems, anti-skid systems, shimmy and steer dampers, oleo shock struts, and position & warning systems.

Inspection, repair, maintenance, and installation of these systems is practiced.
