Composites

Classes held here:

166 Composites and Nonmetallic Structures

This course is designed to develop skills in the fabrication, inspection, damage evaluation and repair of composite aircraft structures using manufacturer's data.

In addition, the student will inspect wooden aircraft materials and perform tests to determine the airworthiness of aircraft fabric coverings.

This course will also address the storage, inspection and repair of transparent plastic materials.
