A world of opportunity awaits you at the Indianapolis Aviation
Technology Center. Aviation programs from two highly recognized
universities, Vincennes University and Purdue University, will
prepare you for a global future in aviation technology. Study at the
state-of-the-art Aviation Technology Center, located at the
Indianapolis International Airport. You will gain valuable hands-on
experience in the technologically advanced facility, while
completing programs offered by Vincennes and Purdue programs.

Choose Your Career Path

At the Aviation Technology Center you will be exposed to virtually all aspects of the aviation industry, so you can choose the career path that suits you best. The Aviation Technology Center will put you ahead with access to the best facilities and faculty in the country.

Through Vincennes University you can earn your Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (FAA A&P), an Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S) in Aviation Maintenance Technology, or an Associate of Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology Degree (A.S.).

Vincennes also offers a Transport Category Aircraft Technician Certificate using our Boeing 737, courses to prepare for the Federal Aviation Administration Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (FCC RP) which allows you to operate aircraft radio equipment, and courses to complete ground school for your FAA Private's Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating.

VU offers 727, 737, 757, and Airbus A320 General Familiarization courses throughout the year. These courses give students the opportunity to take a detailed look at the systems of large aircraft.

Because the Aviation Technology center combines the best aspects of both Vincennes University and Purdue University you can continue your education to achieve a Bachelor's Degree from Purdue. The combined facilities and faculty give you the best of both universities, and therefore the best opportunities to succeed as aviation maintenance technician.
