Computer Lab
The ATC computer lab offers a variety of hardware, software, and personal support services on 25 state-of-the-art Dell ® computers . Software services include Microsoft Office XP (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), Avantext V3,ASA Prepware,and numerous other online aviation maintenance manuals and catalogs. The computers are connected to the World Wide Web so students have the ability to access the Internet, MyVU, electronic mail, and other university services.
The lab is available and can be used by students during open hours or can be reserved by faculty for closed session classroom use. The room number for the lab is 1034. The lab has been designed for instructional purposes and has an instructor workstation that includes a computer with the ability to add a projector, a large table, a whiteboard, and a laser printer.
The Lab is generally accessible during operating hours when not scheduled for classroom use. In general, the computer lab is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM throughout the year. The Lab is not open during campus holidays or on weekends.
